Destination Unknown is a brand new bright, bold and ultra-clean West Coast Double IPA that showcases explosive hop character layered over a lean malt base. Pouring a brilliant clear gold, the aroma leaps from the glass with saturated citrus, tropical fruit and resin.
A punchy whirlpool addition of Citra Incognito and loaded late dry-hop of Riwaka Cryo, Peacharine, Simcoe and Eclipse lays down intense notes of sweet citrus oil, grapefruit zest, ripe mango and dank resin. Fermented cool, the profile is exceptionally crisp and polished, allowing the hops to shine through. On the palate expect powerful yet refined notes upfront of juicy mandarin, passionfruit, peach nectar and pine before giving way to a firm, classic West Coast bitterness and a snappy, dry finish that keeps the beer dangerously drinkable despite its strength.
